Blonde moments

We all do silly things AKA Blonde moments, so i thought i would share one of mine...

I dont mind checking out garage sales, so one day I checked the newspaper for the lists and started visiting the addresses. I went to a few, but couldnt see any movement. Zilch. Thinking they must have finished early, i went to check out some more addresses....

Turns out the newspaper i was using was last weeks.

So, i have to study a subject that i dont like the sound of 'Communication & Culture'. It sounds a bit.. dull right??

I have read one page of my notes & have fallen in love. Well, maybe it's not quite love, but at least lust.

Not my idea

The other day my friend was telling me that she is going on a blind date... to the Mardi Gras. I cant help but think this is not the ideal situaiton to meet someone in a heterosexual, romantic manner.

Much? no.

Well. Not much has been happening. My week has consisted of the basics....

1. Work
2. Sleep
3. Playing virtual tennis on the Playstation 3 (i play as Venus, possum as Rodger)
4. Going to bed before 9:00 on most nights. Sad i know, but what am i to do?

I also booked tickets to Ross Noble . If you have seen him before-he's great isnt he?? If you haven't- you must! The funniest guy around (his hair just adds to the madness!)

BTW, possum bought me red roses yesterday for Valentine's day. We have been together for 5 yrs this May, so it's nice that he still thinks to do things like this.

To perk myself up, i am going to go shopping on the weekend. I am on the lookout for a tan bag, some folders and a book.

ok, my friend just rang me. She got engaged last night. So cute!

Rain.

It is raining. More. Still. Us Aussies are not used to rain- we are drought people! Don't get me wrong- the rain is great, but after about 2 consistent weeks, im starting to get a little pissed. Things are starting to flood, animals are drowning,
everything is always just a little damp, my hair does not stay straight and resembles something from the 80's & i dont have a clothes dryer.

Not that i'm complaining, im just saying... :)

And to top it off, today is my nieces birthday party. If only it would stop for a couple of hours.

BTW, i couldn't decide what to get her, so i got a bit of everything...

People, i need help! It's my niece's 8th birthday on Saturday and i have no idea what to get her. Though, i know what i am NOT getting her:

Clothes
Art supplies
Anything breakable
Toys

You would think this would makes things easier but it does not. She has EVERYTHING!

I was considering a little bag & purse set, but im not convinced. Is there anything else?

Now, as you would have not noticed- i don't blog about music. I listen to it, but it's not something that i get obsessed with. HOWEVER, i am utterly obsessed with Angus & Julia Stone. They are an Aussie brother & sister duo.
