No, they just wont fit!

A few of my friends are having babies and falling pregnant and so I have babies on the mind. This was made apparant in my dream last night. Firstly, i dreamt that my parents were having another baby. That in itself is rather alarming, but then i dreamt that instead of milk, my mother was producing/feeding little carrots through her nipples! Yes, i know what you are thinking-ow.

But whats worse is that when i held the little munchkin, it thought that it would try and get its carrot fix from me! Um, no, No way.

So anyway, thats how queer my dreams are.

But seriously- carrots???

Word of the Day

Well, we all know that I am obsessed with words. Any words, big and small-I am not sizist! Anywho, I though I would introduce my 'word of the day', words I come across that I did not know exist.

Word 1: Imbibe
Verb- to drink, to absorb as if by drinking.

Eg, i feel like imbibing right now.

Whats in a name?

Sometimes i wonder how much time i have spent on normal, everyday things such as driving to and from work, waiting in line at the post office, eating McDonalds (including waiting for MacDonalds!) and lately i have thought about how much time I have spent writing my name. It's kinda long. Kimberlie. And im not someone who will shorten their own name. I don't write Kim. In saying that, i dont mind if others shorten my name, it's just that i can't. SOMETIMES if in a hurry and need to get around this little 'obstacle' i will wirte my initials KW.
Ha! I win!

KW (hehehe)

So far I have:
-Picked up lovey, great best chair ever!
-Visited with parents
-Food shopping
-Got out laptop and essay notes. Read notes but need cup of tea.
-Decided to paint new, best chair ever!
-Had to go and get new paint
-Paint chair (also ruin new clothes)
-Write one paragraph! Oy!
-Spend quality time with possum ;)
-Have friend come over for more tea
-Prepare dinner
-Eat dinner
-Attempt to do essay, but decided to blog about how I have not really started essay.

How I wish this essay was on procrastination.... :)

Chair delight!

I saw this chair and bought it(basically)straight away. It's old and it's awesome! It blew the budget but i know i will have it forever! I dare say this will be my 'thinking chair'...

Shake & Stir

So, i think i am in a bit of a rut. I need to shake things up a bit. Ultimately, i would love to work one less day a week and have the oppurtunity to pursue other interests. I cant see that happening right now, so in the meantime i am after something to make my life a bit more....interesting? Fulfilling? I have uni which is good, and 'possum' and I are great, so i think i need a (writing?)project of some sort. Until i think of something in that regard I plan to:

1. Change hair colour - im thinking copperish?
2. Organise my life a bit better
3. Go back to art class
4. Prioritise and most importantly...
5. Change my routines!

Maybe this is where my cereal change fits in?? I have already started and didnt even know it...

Any ideas?

Cereal matters

How often do you change your cereal? Do you alternate? I do.

For years i was a toast and tea type of gal, but somewhere along the lines i swapped to Corn Flakes. I had stayed with Corn Flakes for a couple of years until 2 days ago. All of a sudden they were pushed to the side and i reached for the Wheat Bix. My boyfriend was very surprised-shocked even. Why did this happen? Was is a conscious decision?

Soggy v Crisp is also a breakfast preferance. There seems to be an even split in society. I am definetly soggy. I think this is much like the Holden v Ford thing. Pegs on the line v pegs off the line etc etc.

Oh and i musnt forget sugar v no sugar. I am sugar!! I need my a.m sugar hit. I love soggy sugar.

Really, when you think about it, Breakfast is quite odd. Generally you have the same thing again and again. Every morning like clock work. BUT you would NEVER think of doing the same thing for dinner day in and day out. I wonder why that is?

Obsessed: hearts

I am obsessed with hearts. On anything. I recently tracked down a hot water bottle that has a knitted heart cover (no pic though) and have since found heart shaped tea cups. They are sooo cute!

You can get them from $29 for a set of 2 at www.keithandlottie.com

What do you think?

Wrong in sooo many ways

Is it so wrong that i have a attraction to the scent on Glen 20?

Yes, i am serious.

On a side note: Isnt Glen 20 an odd name for spray disinfectant/air freshener? I wonder if its named after the creator? Was Glen in fact 20 when he created it? If anyone knows the history of Glen 20, please let me know.
I am very certainly going to have to research this....

Do i need this yellow Grab bag? I dont have a yellow bag, and this one is definetly yellow. Ahhhh to many decisions. Help! www.birdmotel.com.au

Tomatoes are evil!

I heart my Uni lecturer! He is such a nerd and i think its great. Not only does his pants sit high above his waist, his glasses pushed right up against his face, but he has the BEST nerdy t-shirts.

One time he wore a shirt that had a little boy looking towards the stars with the caption 'Is anybody out there?' (definetly a Star Trek fan!). The next week he wore a shirt that had a tomatoe on it a a big red line through it. That was it. I pondered that shirt for 2 hours until he eventually turned around around to reveal some writing stating that 'Tomatoes are evil'. hehehe.

I think when he gets older people will call him 'eccentric'
