The last couple of days all i have seen & heard about is the death of Heath. I very nearly cried last night becasue it is so sad. BUT when i thought about it, as tragic as this is, it happens all the time all over the world. I dont know how many people die everyday, but i just think there is something not right about the attention some people get over others. Is it because he managed to touch so many people through his work?
I hope i am explainging myself right.
I do realise that i am being somewhat of a hypocrite by writing a post about this (particulary Heath), but it's something i have been thinking about.

I love it and think it says alot about Heath's personality and the fact that even though he is in the limelight, he is not censored and tells it like it is.

It is weird to mourn someone you don't know. But Heath was in the public eye and in that sense, you DO know them.
I think its mainly that when someone famous dies, it makes them seem more human, more touchable, you know? And I don't know about you but I do occasionally wonder, who's next? and it's NEVER been Heath, he was never even a consideration. Britney, Nicole, Paris, Lindsay, perhaps. Never Heath. Someone on my blog said he was the anti-celebrity, he was only in it for the art. That seems to be the case and I think that's the other reason why it hit so hard - he seemed like he was just a normal guy. Have you read Chelsea's (as in Chelsea Talks Smack) post about him? I was mildly upset about the whole thing but reading that made me tear up.

The thing that made it so sad for me is that someone like him - who seemed to have everything (Money, Fame, Fortune, Popularity) still took his own life (intentional or not!).
I do agree that he was a great Aussie export and kind of summed up the Aussie attitude with his larican (sp?!?!) personality
he didnt take his own life it was malpractice. the doctor mixed the pills and that killed him. wikipedia him when i read how he died i started to tear up as i am at the moment. i wasnt a big fan butnow i am. i wish it was all a bad dream. but this made me smike. he is so cool. when i visit new york im going to visit his restraunt/bar that was his final dream(i read)
You should all learn to spell properly, Heath was a babe. Even how young he was, he had a good life.
