Big decisions

Oh, and in Breaking news- after forever being blonde, i am going darker. I have made the first visit to the salon ( it's a bit darker than expected, but i have been told it's a process), and in a couple of weeks my hairdresser and i plan to put a copper colour over the top to lighten it up. My overall plan is to have coppery/dark blonde hair.
Thoughts?

My head hurts

Argh, today my head feels all funky. Wanna know why? Ok, i'll tell you, but it's kinda gross...
Yesterday morning at about 5:00 am i work up with a terrible migrain, so i took some heavy duty painkillers in the hope that they would fix it. Oh how i was wrong.

From about 10-2 pm i was vomitting ( not that there was anything there to vomit mind you), and then spent the rest of the day trying to fall asleep to escape the pain.

Migraines suck! And while i'm not a stranger to them, they are changing in their effects, and getting progressively worse. I am pretty sure they are hormonal, so i am not quite sure how to handle them.

Any ideas? While i was in Brisbane, i did see my doc, and we decided to change my pill to the lowest degree. In a way, this has worked because i don't get them as often, but when i do they seem much worse.

It's getting cold...

so time to pull out the winter wardrobe...

Work/Wine

So, in Australia there is a horse race called The Melbourne Cup. Basically, its an excuse to put on a dress, drink copious amounts of wine. My work is having drinks and we have to dress up- but not too much because we still have to work...or look like it anyway.

Here is what i am thinking of wearing. Thoughts?

I can't stop sneezing. I am all congested and have massive amounts of WARNING-you may want to not read what i am about to write- SNOT. Yep, gooey, yucky, slimy snot. And now my nostrils are starting to hurt even though i have those lovely aloe vera tissues.

I need help. I need a cure. I need a lobotomy.

p.s- what is a lobotomy? Maybe i dont need one...?

Argh.

pps- Do you think i should buy the top below? Maybe it will make my feel better, and then i can concentrate in my assignment?? Maybe? Worth a try? (please?)

Ikea madness

So, yesterday was memorable! As well as going to Chatswood, we also made a detour to a shop i had only ever heard about......Ikea!

Im sure everyone else has been there before, but for me, I was an Ikea virgin. I had no idea of the rules, and the necessity of the mini pencil & paper (I learnt quickly though)

We made it out alive with some curtains and a coffee table (i also got a freebie headache from all the people, car fumes & crying babies- how nice!)

So, I am on a mission trying to draw some nude pics so i can frame them & put them up. Here are my first 2 trials. What do you think? (does the first pic look as if hair is growing from her neck??)

And no, im not useing models, just coping some pics from a book with charcoal (i dont know who the artists are)

Getting to know you (as in me)......

So, before i go any further, this is me. Its an ok picture, taken about a year ago.

( i swear my eyes really arent that wrinkly.....I was just really happy! :o)

Now that i have been formally introduced, we can continue.

Today i finalised (hopefully) my uni timetable. This will be my first proper year at uni. Last year i completed an 'Open Foundation' course which enables you to get a UAI which you need, and i didnt have one because i spent much of my school days...

In saying that, my evil ways have changed, and i am an upstanding member of society. My only habit now is shopping, which is a much better course of action as i am supporting the economy!
